Talk to the academy
Questions about the Nashville hot chicken course, a group order for your crew, or a batch of dave's hot chicken tenders that keeps coming out pale? Send it over. We answer course questions, quote group rates, and walk you through which heat level fits your kitchen before you enroll.

Where we are
The academy sits on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Drop by during working hours if you want to talk through the course in person before you enroll, or send a message and we will get back to you.
Before you visit
- Walk-in questions are fine Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and Saturday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
- Coming in about group rates? Bring the headcount and the dates you have in mind so we can quote on the spot.
- Sunday we are closed. Messages that arrive then are answered the next working morning.

Faster answers
Include these details
A short note with the right facts saves a round trip. Here is what helps us answer daves hot chicken questions on the first reply.
Which dish you are cooking
Tenders, sliders, or wings change the answer. Dredge timing, oil temperature, and how long the glaze sits all differ between them, so naming the dish gets you a precise reply.
Your current heat level
Say whether you cook at Mild, Medium, Hot, or Reaper today. We can point you at the sauce build and chili ratio that moves you one step hotter without losing flavor. The heat levels guide explains each step.
Your kitchen setup
Deep fryer, countertop fryer, or a cast-iron pan on the stove. Each one needs a different temperature routine, and the course modules are written so you can follow along with whichever you own.
Group size and timing
For group rates, tell us how many seats you need and roughly when the group wants to start. We quote from that, and we can split access so each person gets their own login.
One reply, from a person, before you spend a dollar
No automated queue and no sales script. A course question gets a real answer, and if the honest answer is that a different heat level or a later start date suits you better, we will say so.
Before you write
How fast do you reply to a course question?
Messages that arrive during working hours usually get an answer the same business day. Anything that lands after 6:00 PM, or on Sunday, is answered the next working morning. Group-rate requests may take a little longer because we check availability and headcount before quoting.
Can I ask about a recipe before I enroll?
Yes. The free recipes are there for exactly that, and you are welcome to write in about a step that did not work. Describe what you did and what the result looked like, and we will tell you where it usually goes wrong.
Do you offer group rates for teams or cooking classes?
We do. Send the number of seats you need and the window you are working with. We will come back with a rate and, if it helps, a suggested order for working through the modules as a group so everyone cooks the same dishes on the same week.
What if I have already bought the course?
Access and billing questions go to the same inbox. Mention the email you enrolled with so we can find your account, then tell us what you need — a module that will not play, a login that stopped working, or a question about what your access includes.
Can I visit the academy on Broadway?
You can, during working hours. It is a working kitchen, so there are days when the team is mid-service and cannot sit down with you. Send a note first and we will pick a time when someone can actually walk you through the course.
Not sure what to ask yet?
Read how the course is built and what each module covers, then come back with the one thing that is still unclear. That is usually the fastest way to a useful answer.
